The lake is called the Mongaup Pond. It is about 5 miles from the house, and takes 10 - 15 minutes to get there by car. Once you get there, it is a very nice lake to spend a hot summer afternoon. You can swim, bathe in the sun, rent a kayak or fish. There are barbeque grills all over the place, so you can make it a cook out party!
